Welcome readers! This blog is a response to a sunday reading task assigned by Dr. Dilip Barad sir. This Particular blog deals with the review of 12th Fail movie, as a part of thinking activity in reference to the education system, government jobs, Modern education realities and struggles among the youth for preparing about these compitative exams and such things. Here, this movie explores the academic journey of IPS officer Manoj sharma. 

 Everyone talks about success stories, But 12th Fail is something different which shows the struggle. It is not just about passing or failing exams. But more than that, it is about the real  struggles of young people face to keep up with today's dynamics of education. The movie 12th Fail doesn't romanticize but rather it shows the true picture of what students really go through in cities when they were preparing for the exams. 

 Brief Introduction of the Film and about its background :- 

 12th Fail is a a realistic and restrained adaptation of Anurag Pathak's book with the  same name, the film centres on a young man, a struggling Hindi medium student, who makes the journey from a lawless Chambal village to the top echelons of the police force. 12th Fail is an entertaining, thought provoking version of the true story about academic journey of Manoj sharma from preparing for 12th exams to become an IPS officer. The film views the specific facts of one individual's experiences in the context of the general realities of an examination system while often going into granular detailing of the three-stage testing system. 

It is good to see that we can watch the films inspired by true stories and real life achievers. 12th Fail is a gentle little film that stays true to its purpose.

 □ The Film Portraying the real - life journey of Manoj kumar sharma , who overcame extreme poverty to become an Indian IPS officer. 

□ Education system and struggles for government jobs among youngsters discussed in the movie and it also shows a reality. 

□ The aspect of striving intensely for financial security and a decent living resonates with many youngsters who perceive the structures of the socioeconomic realm as neither fair nor just.

□ However, "12th Fail" was crafted through the lens of a young, lower-middle-income family's young boy, depicting the introduction of exams into their lives, their impact on families for years, and the rare instances, like Manoj's, where someone rises above. The movie objectively portrays the system's flaws, including unhygienic coaching centre toilets, dusty libraries, and the commercialisation of education.

□ This film depicts that How Hindi medium students are inherently looked down upon just because of language. 

□ 12th Fail movie is a wake up call for us, asking why the system is still like this after all these years and implicitly questioning why individuals like Manoj, from difficult backgrounds, are the ones driven to make a change.

□ 12th Fail serves as a reminder that despite an uneven playing field, we should strive to level it. The movie shows how a small kindness from the DSP officer changed the aim of a small village boy who probably never had a dream before. Where The Dialogues between DSP officer Dushyant singh and Manoj were like; 

Manoj :- Sir mujeh bilkul Aap jaisa banna hai, 

DSP officer :- To Phir cheating chhodni padegi. 

Manoj :- chod dunga sir. 

 □  From that perspective we can also notice that  how the movie portrayed how, even when driven, we might make mistakes that can have a huge impact. What's important is to start from scratch. And when you can't reach the top, help those who are trying after you, helping them understand the pitfalls and stakes that took you a long time to comprehend.

 □ This movie shows the continuous persistance of the main character. If we really try hard than everything can be achieved. 

□ Finally,  The movie portrays sweat and tears, success and failure, raising the question of how much of an individual's success is personal credit and how much is systematic discrimination.
